good news!
The Letcher County Conservation District provided the Head of Three Rivers project with a mini-grant so that we can have a booth at this year’s Mountain Heritage Festival and share water quality information.
Plans are to make some nice maps to show results from the Big Dip sampling, to answer people’s water questions, have some demonstrations to let people explore hydrology a bit and to connect with people interested in local water issues.
On one day we’ll be doing an oral history project with people telling their stories of good water an bad water and all the water in between.
Make a point to come by, visit, and be personable!
