We do not like to drink the water here in Pike County. It is loaded with lime and metals and is drawn directly from the Levisa Fork for Mountain Water District to add a lot of chlorine and distribute.
It has so much chlorine in it you can smell it in a small 5 oz cup!
Our water heaters and faucet filters clog up with white sediment.
Many streams feeding the Levisa Fork have raw sewage in them.
Can there be a way to get clean water for us in Pike County?
Mountain Water District sent out a “Water Quality Report”, who oversees the test results? I don’t trust my water! I, and my whole family, have to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking.
